Product Description
Looking for a family camping tent that gives you lots of space, versatility, and convenient storage? Do you need a tent that allows you to power your modern conveniences without having to leave the door open for bugs and weather to come in? Look no further than the Wenzel St. Alban then, it has everything you need and more. The St. Alban has two zip shoe pockets with access to it from inside the tent and outside. The front side canopy provides shade and a place for your chairs, giving you a bit more living space. The E-Port allows you to run electrical cords into the tent, powering all of your electronic devices, so that you don't have them coming through the door--removing tripping hazards. Also includes a built-in mud mat that helps stabilize the tent and keeps mud and muck out. Set up is easy with the pin and ring system and plastic eve hubs. Once set up, ventilation won't be an issue with the full mesh ceiling and patented corner vents. Water-resistant, sonic welded polyethylene floor and factory taped fly seams keeps the weather out and you dry and comfortable inside. Also, the truncated corners give the tent added stability in adverse weather conditions.

My best friend and her husband own this tent, and we are experienced "drive-up" campers. This is EASILY the worst tent I have ever come across.Biggest problem:Rain has DUMPED into this tent the last three times we have gone camping. The entire "roof" of this tent is netting, and the rain fly - which BARELY covers the roof is your only hope of staying dry. Despite having more stake spots and tie-downs than any tent I've ever seen, I think it is impossible to get the tent and rain fly taught enough too keep rain from collecting in the fly - and then periodically "sheeting" off the side - but anyone who camps knows that the worst possible thing is to have water "pooling" for any length of time. I could go on for pages about how poorly this tent handles rain, but you get the point.Other problems:* The two side windows are located in the upper half of the tent. There is ZERO cross breeze in the lower half of the tent (where you are when you sleep) even if you have every vent open.* As mentioned above, this tent has leaked on the last three camping trips, and since my friends live in the city and I live in the 'burbs, it has fallen to me to help get everything dry enough to pack for the next trip. This tent is so massive that it's extraordinarily to get dry, to flip, even to just roll it up for the carrying pack.* For a tent that relies SOOOOO heavily on tension, they should have included heavier-duty, high quality stakes, but this tent comes with the cheapest stakes available.* Cost. My friends are REALLY bummed to have spent nearly two hundred dollars on this tent and have it turn out to be so crappy. The cost is the only reason they haven't thrown it away and bought another tent, but after a MISERABLE Labor Day weekend trip with a river running through one half of the tent, I think they are going to throw it away anyway.Save yourself a LOT of headache and buy a different tent.

We were nervous about ordering a tent with no reviews (at the time) but liked the description so we pressed forward. It worked out to our benefit the tent is great with only a couple minor complaints. We have a large family of 5 so for it to fit our family and gear is pretty impressive. Everyone commented on how big the inside was because the outside didn't look that big.PROS:- Easy To Assemble - Minimal amount of poles and went together in about 20 minutes (first time).- Large Size - We fit 1 full size & 3 twin air mattresses with room for gear (about a 4x6 empty space with empty corners).- Height is awesome. I am 5'8" and my husband is 6' and we could stand up anywhere in the tent without hitting our heads.- Ventilation is great. The entire roof is mesh plus you have two windows, one door and two corner sides that zip open for ventilation.- Small loop above the door (we used to hold our tent light)- Front rain cover extends about 3 feet to give you protection from rain.- Mud flap in front to cover dirt or to set shoes on before entering the tent.- Zipper pocket for muddy shoes that you can access from the inside of the tent- Hanging storage pockets in each corner (about 4 or 6 total) to hold light things like phones, glasses, etc.)- Power cord accessCONS:- Assembly - You can't put this together by yourself, you need two people.- Rain cover doesn't extend pass the back of the tent at all. I personally would have preferred it to extend around all four corners a little more. However, if you water seal it I don't see a problem with rain (but it didn't rain when we camped so I'm not sure)- Mud flap in front of tent is to small. It is only about a foot, which is great to set your shoes on but not to use as a door mat to move around on (like when you are standing and balancing to take your shoes off). However, we set the tent on a 12x16 tarp so we extend the tarp out pass the front and it created the extended size we were looking for.- Power cord access is really high. It is half way up the tent side. It needed to be a little lower & have a better bug flap. When a cord goes through it pulls on the tent side opening up the flap so it is open to bugs. However we just plugged it up with the tent tag which hangs next to it and it seemed to work ok.We are very happy with this tent and would purchase it again.. As you can see all the PROS out weighed the CONS by far.
