This tent is as advertised. I can add some personal experiences to this tent. Set up was simple, very roomy (2 adults, 2 kids), with more than enough height to stand up in. The roll up "springs" are a great idea, worked like a charm. I have to say the best part was the rigid door. Getting out in the middle of the night in the dark was as simple as if you were at home. No fumbling for zippers, no waking the family, a gentle push and the door opens right up. I noticed the screened in porch has drainage built in - excellent design. I can speak from experience that this tent can withstand sustained 20mph winds, and gusts to 25mph without giving in.Packing the tent away was as easy as a small backpacking tent (minus the weight). All in all I would recommend this tent for those who like a large tent with a screened in porch. This is the one. Now how about some built in lights?

I was looking for a tent with a screened in porch. Wanted to look at the stars at night and be able to keep the bugs away. Also want a place to keep surfboard, boggie boards, wetsuits and/or bicycle while not at the camp site. The built in tarp with vents around the edges in the screened in porch is perfect for draining the sand and water I bring with me in the tent. This was the only tent I could find that also had an entrance from the screen room to the main cabin.It rained the second time we used this tent. The cabin stayed dry. As long as you put the rain fly on just like the directions suggest it will not rain in the cabin! It does not run in through the windows when you attach the poles to keep it from doing just that. Coleman thought of everything: self rolling windows, the rigid D door, two entrances to the cabin, screen porch, cooler access, and cord access points. It takes about 20 min to set up this tent, but all the extras makes it worth the time! It was simple to assemble with 2 people. I have put it up by myself but would not recommend it.Buy this tent and you will not be sorry!

We have been out camping in this tent 3 times now and 2 of the 3 times we have had hard rain. The screened in porch is a joke when it rains. The rain fly directs the water into the screen porch and makes a huge puddle. The living space also leaks. I have put seam sealer on the seams twice now but each time we had water in the tent around the corners.I have owned Coleman tents in the past and never had a water leaking problem. Our previous tent was an Eddie Bower tent and we are already missing it for the size and it also did not have problems in the rain.The inside living space gets really small after you put a queen size air mattress inside, the back of the tent gets smaller than the middle because it is not a square corner (not good for an air mattress) the mattress will touch the back of the tent wall but not the middle. So you have to move the mattress more to the middle of the tent which takes up living space.On a plus side the tent is easy to set up and you only need 2 people to set it up. The polls are metal so you don't have to worry about fiber glass polls cracking. The side door is also very handy and make getting in and out of the tent very fast.This could be a nice tent but it was designed very poorly & not up to The Coleman standards that we were use to. If the windows had a zipper so that you could cover the windows when it rains it would solve some of the screened porch problems.
