Just received my Mansard 8 tent

I recently purchased a Eureka Mansard 8 tent and quickly set it up to get a feel for the size since I had never seen one set up.Pros:It's roomy and a person 5'10" can stand up in all 4 corners with the ceiling just touching the top of their head. In the rest of the space the top is at least 5" above his head.That same 5'10" person only has to slightly duck to enter the tent.The shock-corded aluminum rods are easy to put together.The doors (there are two) are easy to zip around with one hand.I was able to put it up by myself in about ½ hour although I wouldn't want to do this all the time and I'm 5'6".I think two adults with two cots, two chairs and two dogs (Pomeranians) with a 19"x24" x 21" cage would fit comfortably with room to spare.Cons:It will fit two cots (I have two regular size roll-a-cots), however, they will not fit with the room divider zipped closed.There are two closable windows and two that are not closable. Each room has one of each type. (I would have preferred to have both closable in the "bedroom" area and the open ones in the "sitting" area.)The windows are too high on the tent to be able to sit on a cot and look out.The two windows that are not closable are completely covered by the rain fly, thus, you only see the inside of the rain fly.There is one side vestibule in each room as well (I would have preferred to have both in the same room.)Lastly, this tent is comparable in size to the REI Kingdom 8, but has straighter sides. My husband could only stand fully erect in the very center of the Kingdom 8. Additionally, I found the Mansard 8 to be sturdier than the Kingdom 8.Overall, I like the tent and my husband likes the tent. I have yet to camp in it so I'll have to write an addendum to this review once I do.
